Cape Sunrise

A mix of Agave, fresh orange juice, and grenadine, capturing the Cape’s iconic two-toned sunrise.

Ingredients:

50ml LTA Blanco (2 shots)
100ml orange juice
15ml grenadine
10ml Agave syrup, optional
Garnish: cherry and orange wedge.

Method:

Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour in the agave spirit and orange juice. Slowly drizzle the grenadine over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass, allowing it to settle at the bottom. Watch as the grenadine sinks and gradually rises, creating the signature sunrise effect. Garnish with a cherry and an orange wedge.

Cape Point is where the warm Agulhas current and the cold Benguela current meet, causing a significant oceanographic phenomenon.
