Reposado, meaning ‘rested’, is our 100% Karoo agave spirit matured for three months in American oak. This brief pause adds light oak and warmth while still capturing the true essence of the Karoo. Vanilla and green pepper open the palate, followed by light smoke and caramelised agave.
La Tierra Reposado is a balanced expression that combines fresh agave with the influence of oak. After distillation, it rests for three months in recycled bourbon barrels. This short ageing period develops a golden colour and layers of flavour while keeping the agave at the centre.
The nose shows soft vanilla, light caramel, alongside agave’s herbal core. The palate is smooth with gentle spice, oak sweetness, and an earthy finish. Reposado offers enough complexity for sipping yet retains the brightness needed for refined cocktails.
